We Love our Country and our Bikes
We are a Brotherhood of Marines and Navy Corpsman who share a common bond; the love of motorcycles, and the open road. Along with that, there is the Brotherhood that develops with Members, as they share adventures, some good-some not so good. But through it all, a bond takes place, and that bond is forever. What we do as Members of this Club, shall be forever entered into the history of this outstanding organization, and those who follow as future Members will learn from our examples, and mistakes. This is, and will be, our Legacy.
As Marines we have been taught that Honor and Integrity, combined with Courage and Commitment, should be our hallmark. Not to wait in question, but to act decisively, and with enthusiasm. For not acting, shall surely bring about failure of the mission.
As Leathernecks, the same principles apply. A true Brother will never let others carry the weight of responsibility for him. Instead, he shall act out of selflessness to help lift the burden when he sees his Brother has a heavy load that may be too much to bear. A true Brother will not sit idly by, and reap the benefits of what other Members have contributed, while they themselves do nothing but complain about what is wrong with the Club. A true Brother picks up the phone and asks what his Brother needs, instead of sitting back in the shadows hoping he can get out of a run, or other Club obligation.
There is, and shall never be, room in this Club for marginal Members. We are a volunteer organization with no one being forced to wear our Patch. If you do not fit the above criteria, you are not worth consideration to be a Member.
Not everyone can be a Marine, or it wouldn’t be the Marines.
Even less can claim the title: Leatherneck!
